ABOUT THIS DEMO:
The demo version of Color It! 2.0 has been disabled to prevent you from using the Print, Save, Save As..., Publish, and Export commands. The demo version will also not be able to transfer images to other programs through the clipboard. (NOTE: The clipboard does work for transfering selections between different images in Color It! itself.)
The program can be launched from either the CD or from your hard drive. When launching the program, make sure that you have at least 1 Megabyte of free space on your hard drive. This space is required by Color It! to create a virtual images folder to store temporary files.
WHAT IS COLOR IT! ?
Color It! is a 32 bit color paint and image enhancement program that gives you all the power and precision you need to create or enhance dramatic images. Color It!'s advanced image processing features enable you to scan your favorite photography or illustrations... then crop, retouch, or alter any part of the image. Erase scratches, blemishes, cluttered or unattractive backgrounds. You can even adjust the brightness and contrast of the image.
With advanced brushes and a palette that supports over 16 million colors you can easily paint stunning original artwork. Support for pressure sensitive tablets allows your brush strokes to mimic traditional painting techniques. Adjustment of brush opacity controls how much paint is applied to your image, a higher opacity applies more paint to the image, while a lower opacity applies a lighter coat of paint (more of the image shows through).

Advanced Brushes
• Antialiased Brushes -- Antialiasing rounds out rough edges giving brush strokes a more natural appearance.
• Pressure Sensitive Support -- Pressure sensitive tablets can be used to control the brush width, opacity, spacing, repeat rate. You can even customize how changes in pressure will affect the brush.
• Advanced Brush Options -- Numerous brush variables are adjustable including: brush size, shape, opacity, antialiasing, fade type and rate, and repeat rate.
Advanced Retouching Tools
• Smudge tool -- Smudge paint in the picture into surrounding parts of the image.
• Blur tool -- Blur the area of the image under the brush.
• Sharpen tool -- Sharpen the image to bring out details.
• Stamp tool -- Copy and stamp a portion of an image onto itself or even a second image.
Advanced Selection Tools
• The advanced selection tools give you unlimited power over selecting the right region of an image. Color It! offers a full complement of selection tools including: a polygon tool, a free form selection tool, a "smart" magic wand, a lasso tool, and a number of marquee selection tools.
• Feather Selections -- Feathering controls how the edge of the selection will be blended into the background. This blending process greatly enhances users ability to create and blend complex images without jaggies.
• Scissors/Zap tools -- The scisssors tool is used to cut away unwanted regions of a selection. The Zap tool can then be used to destroy the unwanted selections.
Advanced Masks
• Color It!'s advanced masking process lets you "mask off" and protect whatever part of an image you want for painting and pasting operations by simply selecting any open file from the mask menu.
Image Processing Filters
• Color It!'s filter menu lets you lighten, darken, smooth, or sharpen images; you can even make contrast and brightness adjustments. These effects can then be blended with the original image in one percent increments.
• Custom Filters -- Color It! also lets users create and edit custom filters.
